EThekwini Unemployment Insurance Fund Claims ...
UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) data only includes applicants that have physically visited the labour centre to apply for UIF the first time (only new applications for the month), it does not include online applications as those are not dealt with by the province (they go directly to head office for reporting and processing).
The report also does not include any applications that have been approved or rejected, it is only to reflect the number of unemployment claims for that particular month/ taken on daily basis.
